Visiting the Huntington
Yesterday, we took a visit to The Huntington in San Marino, CA for a family member's birthday. We happened to go on one of the busiest days, with Chinese New Year celebrations in full force, but that didn't keep us from having fun, and in fact we had a great time watching the Dragon dance.
There are a ton of things to do and see, with the botanical gardens taking up 120 acres of the 207 total acre property. We wandered into both the Chinese and Japanese gardens as well as some of the galleries. Here are some of my favorite photos from the day.
I hope you've enjoyed this quick post. Although this has nothing to do with leather, it is important to be inspired by nature, architecture and design to incorporate some perspective when crafting leather goods. If you plan to visit The Huntington Library, check their calendar beforehand. Otherwise you may end up parking several blocks away and walk 15-20 minutes to get in! Until next time...
